Wolverines begin fall sports season

If you’re a Marquette Wolverines fan, then you’re probably excited the Red & Blue has begun its 2007 fall sports season of MJH volleyball and football. The Wolverine teams began their second season in the Twin Lakes League early this year when they traveled to Lincoln Aug. 30 for their first games of the school year. (The Tribune will have those game results next week.) Tomorrow night, Thursday, Sept. 6, the Wolverine teams will travel to Centre to play. Volleyball will begin at 5 p.m. and football will start at 6:30 p.m.

Autumn in the Valley is Oct. 20

Plans are underway for the Marquette Chamber of Commerce’s 6th annual Autumn in the Valley festival, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Marquette.
